Tanya Check

Tanya is the lead developer and principal founder of Creative Technology and co-founder of Odyssey.

Tanya's work in software development and management is extensive (35+ yrs), as is her relationship with, experience and knowledge of the Adventure Tourism Industry. From sewing gaiters for alpine climbers for Macpac Wilderness as a teenager, through to managing the inception and ongoing management of the Macpac IT systems - for 23 years. 

Setting up her own business, Creative Technology NZ Ltd, has seen Tanya broaden her Claris FileMaker development skills to build solutions for a number of public (government) and private businesses. Tanya is recognised by FileMaker as a Business Alliance partner, and considered a senior developer by her industry peers.

With a passion for family travel and adventure it's a match made in heaven for Tanya to be building Odyssey to support Adventure Tourism businesses and their staff. Using her eye for the user experience Tanya applies her strengths of front end software design with functional problem solving to engineer Odyssey.
